How to Grab the HH DT button

A quick tutorial for anyone who's new to blogging and would like to display the HH DT badge (or any other badge for that matter).

First, find the code under the button you want to grab.  It's this code is what makes it work on your blog as a clickable link.

Right click on the code and select copy.

On your blog, open the admin page.  You can get to the admin page a few different ways, but if you have your blog in front of you, you can click design in the top right corner.

From the left hand menu, select layout.  This opens a page that looks roughly like an outline of your blog.

The layout is different for different blogs (it depends on the template you are using) but your sidebar and other areas on your blog will show add a gadget - click this.

A box will open.  Scroll down and select HTML/JavaScript.

Right click in the content box and select paste.  Your code is now in the box.

The title box can be left blank, or you can write something (like digital stamps, or Handmade Harbour, or I design for...)

Click the orange save button.

If you want to move your button to a different position, you can left click and drag it on the layout page.

You should now have a shiny new button on your blog!
